5th Annual International Football is Medicine Workshop 2023

The 5th Annual International Football is Medicine Workshop hosted by Emory University Rollins School of Public Health. Preconference Football is Medicine Workshop - "Delivering FIM interventions for Patients, Pupils and the general Public" to be held June 7, 2023. 1pm - 9pm. The Workshop will provide 4.5 hours of theory (lectures and pre-post knowledge assessment from 1pm-5pm and 2.5 hours practical instruction (FIM drills and instruction on a soccer field) from 6:30pm – 9pm.

Intended Audience: Football & soccer coaches, researchers, physicians, providers, post docs and students interested in learning the latest research in team sports and health.

Location: Rollins School of Public Health, Emory University, Atlanta, GA, USA. Atlanta is the largest airport in the world and has many direct flights. Hotel located in Decatur, GA only 2 miles (3.2 km) from the conference site. Decatur, GA is a unique small town just 4 miles from downtown Atlanta. You will have direct train access from the airport and downtown Atlanta, or explore the pocket neighborhoods in between! Decatur has many small owned businesses and restaurants that are all walking distance from the hotels. Atlanta United won’t be in town this weekend but there are lots of other sites to see in Atlanta. The Georgia Aquarium, is a short train ride away and is the largest aquarium in the US and the third largest in the world.
