The Social Determinants of Health are the conditions and quality of life that impact or affect health and wellness across various demographics and cross-sections of populations. At Emory's Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing, we have developed a framework to fully integrate the consideration of social determinants of health in a higher education nursing curriculum.
