In the wake of a global pandemic and enduring stresses on the health care environment, nursing professionals need a different leadership capacity — one that challenges the historical industrial underpinnings of nursing leadership. This episode features Catherine Gilliss, PhD, RN, FAAN. Her presentation is titled, “Where is the RIZZ in Academic Healthcare? Transforming Academic Health Centers." Dr. Gilliss is Margretta Madden Styles Professor of Nursing and Former Dean and Associate Vice Chancellor for Nursing Affairs at the University of California San Francisco.
