Course Description:
Updates in Medicine is a two and a half day program designed to present up-to date information and pearls from a variety of general and subspecialty derived topics. Expert Emory faculty will present evidenced-base and emerging practical clinical approaches to patient care.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Summarize recent updates, clinical studies, and new guidelines that impact practice in general medicine
- Summarize common clinical pearls in the areas of general internal medicine, cardiology, cancer screening, dermatology, radiologic imaging, echocardiography, behavioral medicine, provider well-being and infectious disease.
Intended Audience:
Advanced practitioners, advanced practice physician assistant and nursing students, general internists, family practice physicians, and sub-specialists in need of practice updates.
