Full course description
As we navigate the new environment in which healthcare workers find ourselves working, the COVID-19 Telehealth Update course aims to provide some background and context to help transition in-person patient care experiences to a remote setting. In particular, this course will help define what telehealth and telemedicine is and is not, make you aware of expected telehealth etiquette and professionalism while videoconferencing, help you understand Georgia-specific regulations for nurse practitioners providing telehealth services, and describe the variations in reimbursement across patients and documentation needs for reimbursement.
Note: There are references in this course to Georgia-specific regulations. Providers in other states should consult their state laws and regulations.
