Full course description

Course Description:

Human skin is amazing! From protecting us against the elements to helping to keep our internal organs and systems in place, human skin is an incredible interconnected landscape of biological engineering. And very often, unless we are injured or uncomfortable, we tend to take it for granted. In this course, we will explore this biological topography and understand how it works, how it changes, and how to maintain it throughout our lifetimes.

This course has been created by Emory’s Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing Education Center (WOCNEC). Accredited since 1976, Emory WOCNEC provides nursing education related to acute and chronic wounds, fecal and urinary diversions, and fecal and urinary incontinence.
